Enjoyed a really delicious pasta lunch. The starter salad was very fresh with lots of different greens and some olives and pumpkin. One of the dishes was pasta with red sauce and eggplant and it was perfectly prepared. The other dish was pasta with cream sauce and shrimp and it was also very delicious. It had some unusual spices in it but they made the flavor great. There is homemade bread on the side which is really good. It looks like it's baked in a brick oven or something. My wife and I really love this restaurant. We have been to alot of places all over Kyushu and we would highly recommend Antica. The food is great and would be hard to match in Nagasaki prefecture. Whether alone or on a date (definitely a good restaurant for a date) this is one of the finest places to eat in Sasebo. The atmosphere is cozy and there's always classical music playing to set the tone. I could write a paragraph just about the food. But I'll let it speak for itself...
