FukuChiIn Cafe — Restaurant in Sera

I’d been meaning to go there for too long and recently made it out there finally!! Fukuchin is the old Japanese style cafe renovated and as you can see from the photos, it is very cozy relaxing place surrounded by stunning beautiful nature🌿 The owner and the staff will welcome you friendly so you will find it very comfortable staying there. We had a vegan curry which they do every Friday and it was fantastic. Everything on the menu is from the local farm so did the organic herbs tea we had with dessert:):)

世羅の石見銀山街道沿い、今高野山龍華寺参道途中にあります。 ナビでは直前の世羅温泉まではルート案内出ましたが、そこから特に看板も無かったので、ウロウロしながら参道を登って行く途中で発見出来ました。

築170年の宿坊を名残を残しながらリノベーションされており、かなりの雰囲気があります。庭側をなるべく元の状態のままにしておいたのは個人的には正解だと感じました。

店内はかなり広々としており、こたつ席も密にならないように配置されていて安心感があります。

この日は弘法茶と煎茶、きなこのパンケーキを頂きました。特に弘法茶の茶器が気に入って、いろいろググってみたんですが中国製ということしか分からず・・・かなりマニアックなものを選定されているようです。

お茶も割と煎が効く茶葉で、居心地があまりに良いのでついつい長居してしまい、気づけば２時間弱も庭や内装を見ながらお邪魔してしまいました。
