Espresso where you least expect it. Located on top of the olive grove, 2F in the building on top of the hill with the viewing terrace. Saw a door that said „coffee“. Inside is a cafe that serves a range of specialty coffee and sweets. Anything from seroprevalence to espresso tonic (took a while Japan ;). Panorama seating, all around the shining laMarzocco triple group monster as centerpiece. Theres a Probat toaster behind the curved plywood wall. „Curated“ would best describe the space. The staff is wild on coffee and friendly, the coffee top notch. My espresso was a tad under extracted but that’s down to preference, I give them that. The sweets looked delicious but I didn’t try any. They sell local denim apparel, brand of course and some other trinkets. Recommendation! We waited for 50 minutes to get a seat, we were 4 people and we just didn't get a table. They let pairs through all the time that came after us (6 or more couples) which blocked the opportunity for us 4 to get a table. There was also another group of 4 that also came after us but was also let in before us and ended up being seated together. Bad management that day from them. After we left the building they came out and oftered us a table...a little bit to late...50 minutes too late. Would not recommend for a big group. Also, the cake option was small and sold out at 2pm. GW中だったのもあり満席でした。 なので、平日のオペレーションではないのでサービスの提供がかなり雑だったのかも知れません。

ロケーションが最高なので、通常の客入りだともっとサービスがいいのかも知れません。

まず、価格設定ですが、スペシャルティコーヒーを提供していますが、1種類だったので、中浅煎りと深煎りの2種類は欲しい。

カリタウエェーブでの抽出でしたが、ペーパーリンスなしだったので、味は最悪。時間短縮のためなのか？

それならば、V60でアバカを使えば良いものを、抽出に集中出来ないから、多少管理が雑でも味が出せるのでウエーブを選択したならせめてペーパーリンスくらいはするべき。

バリスタがテーブルの片付けも行っていたが、それでコーヒーの抽出が雑になるなら論外ですよ。

バリスタと店員2名でのサービスはまるで地獄絵図です。

価格設定は高いとの声がありますが、価格としてはスペシャルティなら安い方。

私たちのすぐ後に4名で、高齢者のご夫婦で少し介助が必要そうであったため、私達はテイクアウトでも構わないので、先に高齢者ご家族に順番を譲りました。 その後、一気に客がはけて席が空いたため折角のロケーションを楽しみたいため座席を案内してもらおうかと思ったら、消費税を支払う必要があると面倒そうな表情で言われた為テイクアウトにしました。(申し訳なさそうに言われるならまだしも、面倒くさそうな対応だったので、コチラもムッとしてしまった。)

私はハンドドリップ、友人はエスプレッソを注文したのですが、砂糖やミルクの必要を聞かれることもなく説明もなかった。 エスプレッソはマルゾッコなので、期待していたが、豆の挽き目が合っていないのか、シャバシャバでクレマもない。 シングルオリジンでのエスプレッソなので、分厚いクレマとコクまでは期待していなかったがあまりにもお粗末。

結局、自宅に帰ってからハンドドリップで飲んだ素人サーブのコーヒーがまともに味が出せる不思議な経験でした。

スイーツは3種類しかなかったが、味は良かったです。

こんなことなら、客の入りを抑えるか、休みにした方が良かったのではと感じました。

あくまで激混み時の率直な感想です。 もっと混雑している繁盛店も行っていますが、オペレーションが完璧だと最高のコーヒー体験が出来るはずなので、バリスタが客とのコミュニケーションが取りやすい環境づくり...
