しれとこ里味 Shiretoko Satomi — Restaurant in Shari

This restaurant would be 5 stars if it weren't for these two owls. I tried to eat, but constantly was drawn to the gaze of the two all-seeing owls. Desperately I tried to put food in my mouth, again and again, but this task seemed impossible. Every time I turned around, there they were, looking with their menacing stone-cold glares, their threatening beaks, their razor-sharp talons, constantly replacing their positions. At one point I could bear it no longer. I screamed and ran out of the restaurant without a single bite of food. As I ran their eyes, shining like a blade revealed by the light, followed me out and I could feel them on me as I ran to my car. Would never come back....

Fabulous restaurant with great menu and fair prices. A good 1st stop for anyone who just arrived in Hokkaido. A great introduction what Hokkaido has to offer. The seafood-don and tempura squid+veg are...

旅行で斜里町通過中、ネットで星4近いので行ってきました。

一番人気の「ツブとエビのかき揚げ丼、温そばセット」1480円だったかな。

かき揚げは、具にツブとエビが入ってるという物で美味しい。 ツブは想像より柔らかく、海老の味もいい。 天つゆが少し足りなかったけど、珍しい具材で食べる価値あり。

セット蕎麦は他の方が色々な口コミサイトで書いているように、かなり短く切れていてコシは無く、何より汁にダシの味が無い。 立ち食い蕎麦のほうが美味しいと思う。 ちなみに具はネギと少しの天かすのみです。

一番驚いたのは味噌汁。 蕎麦が付いてるのに味噌汁も付いてることに驚くだけではないんです。 驚くのは味、うっすい味噌の味だけでダシの旨味とかゼロ、蕎麦の汁より味がない。 これは板さんがダシを入れ忘れて味見も忘れたと思いたいレベル。

あくまでも個人の感想ですが、刺身や焼き魚などもあり、斜里町ではライバル店がないのかもしれませんね。
