Kohikiya — Restaurant in Shari

This restaurant is about a 30-minute drive from Shiretoko hotel area. It is little far away from the ocean, but we can enjoy Shiretoko ocean view from the restaurant.

The restaurant offers delicious coffee as well as food menus. The owner family also runs a large pottery kiln next to the restaurant, and the shop manager, the founder's son, kindly gave us a quick tour after our lunch.

They have a small kiln inside of the restaurant for genuine pizza and baked dishes. The food were buitifully served on their potteries. There is a small pottery shop space, too. Quality of food was very nice 😋 👌...

Went here after doing a quick Google search, and I highly recommend going!

We got the Ebi doria, bacon and mushroom pizza, and gyoza. All were very delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe was very unique with many cute things to notice while looking around the cafe. The owner and workers were also kind.
