Trattoria Terla — Restaurant in Shinano

Stumbled across this amazing spot , unfortunately they were booked that first night. Lucky enough I had time to go back and book ahead. The restaurant is situated in an idilic area, so location wise its beautiful. I had high hopes from the outset and they delivered. The moment I sat down in front of the pizza oven I knew I was going to eat good food. The pasta was exceptionally made, pizzas were delicious, tiramisu had sold out but I know that would have delivered to. Great service, exceptional work by a one man kitchen brigade. Very impressive. I will be revisiting as often as I can...

What a great restaurant! We came in the off season but I can see why you would have to make a reservation! Food was fantastic, the pizzas were the best I’ve eaten in Japan. The chef cooks them in his kitchen right in the centre of the restaurant....
