Ven’s kitchen — Restaurant in Shinano

This beautiful cabin pizza restaurant is in a beautiful forrest setting in Shinano Town near Kurohime Skii Park.

The owners are a wonderful couple who invite you into their place and share their love of the surrounding forrest and their delicious food. They built this whole compound themselves.

The restaurant is open for lunch. You need to make a booking one day in advance because it is an intimately small place.

The woodfire pizza oven warmed the space, and you can hear the crackle of the wood as it burns. The rustic decor, soft music, and view of the forest create a beautiful and memorable atmosphere.

I recommend the 4 cheese pizzas served with a drizzle of honey.
