Village 432 — Restaurant in Shintoku

My friends were visiting Japan and wanted to do some horse riding. I was not sure where to go, but I came across Village 432. I called to check they were open as it is October, but they had availability so we popped along to make a booking.

We also had lunch here. I had the steak and it was really delicious. My son had omelette and rice which he really liked. We requested it with just ketchup which wasn’t on the menu and they were more than happy to accommodate.

My son had a go at horse riding just for 5 minutes and he absolutely loved it. The horses are so well behaved and the owner helped him understand how to guide the horse himself.

My friend took the 1 hour trek, it was about to rain so they asked us to leave a bit early, which was fine. They thoroughly enjoyed the trek.

An awesome dining experience suitable for the family. This is our first time in Japan and in Hokkaido. We are truly touched by the warm hospitality extended by the family who owned the restaurant and the ranch. The food was superb, one of the best omurice and Japanese styled steak we have tasted . The friendly English speaking staff (sons of the owner) certainly enhanced the whole experience and my children of 6 and 9 yo could not stop talking about the lovely and endearing family and food after we left. Yutaro and his family are so warm and welcoming! The food here is cooked thoughtfully and to perfection, from perfectly spiced omrice sauce, to the best steak we've come across, and even salads that burst with flavour! You can do horse riding and pottery here too, and the coffees and hot chocolates are delicious. A popular place with locals and families as it's set on such a beautiful property.
