Tsubaki Jaya — Restaurant in Suzu

Today, my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant during our vacation to the Noto Peninsula. The shop is unique and beautiful. It is designed thoughtfully and the view through the window is amazing. The atmosphere inside is warm and comfortable, it was the perfect place to take a break during our sightseeing day.

The staff at the restaurant were so kind to us. Even though we can’t speak Japanese, they provided a simple English menu so we were able to order. We felt so comfortable there and we were sad we couldn’t speak the language so we couldn’t share a more detailed conversation! I can’t find the words to explain how lovely this place was. You won’t regret visiting this restaurant on your trip to Noto.

Go for "Dine with a view". It's little uphill so if you are going by bicycle, there's a 1 km stretch uphill with 8~11% slope. The food is good and so is the service. They have menu written on rocks 😄 They won't allow you inside unless you order first and wash your hands. Suggestion: please let us order after taking the table, it's crazy...

Really good food, great atmosphere, very kind. The fish was perfectly cooked, and everything was delicious. I have no complaints, and the view of the ocean was superb. Definitely recommend going if it's open when...
