Sunset and Cat’s Home is a charming little cafe nestled on Ogijima, just a short 5-minute walk from Ogi Port. Located in the center of the small town, this tiny cafe is the perfect spot to have a break.

The cafe is cats' heaven. Cats roam freely here, either enjoying their meals or finding a cozy nook to rest. You’ll likely cross paths with these adorable creatures during your visit. Inside the cafe, there’s a wall adorned with information about the island’s cats. If you come to this island for visiting cats, it is highly recommended to give this cafe a visit before exploring the island. It’ll give you insights into where to find these cats during your island wanderings.

The view of the cafe could easily be on the best views on the island. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or milk tea while gaze out at the Seta Inland Sea. If you want to see the sunset view, you may need to consider staying overnight in the island as the last ferry back to Takamatsu Port leaves at 5pm.

The owner of the cafe is a kind cat lover. Even when he’s not around, he welcomes visitors to rest here free of charge.

The best place ever! I think it’s the best place to visit if you are a cat lover🐈💕. The owner is extremely friendly. He introduced me all the adorable cats in Ogijima and gave me a guide to find all of them! The owner Matsumoto-san really takes great care of all the cats and loves them🥺

這是我們第二次踏上距離台灣頗遠的男木島，需要飛到高松再轉船班過來，第一次是為了可愛的貓咪，第二次還多了一份支持島貓先生的心意！我們特意住在島上，就是為了參加早晨的貓咪餵食巡禮。八月的瀨戶內海陽光真不是蓋的，耀眼到貓咪都要退居幕後，只有清晨和傍晚較有機會遇見可愛的貓咪！一早五點天微亮，島貓先生已經在夕陽貓之家忙進忙出，幾隻可愛的駐點貓咪開心吃著大餐時，我們和島貓先生準備出發！他提著大包小包，沿途的咪咪看到他都超開心的迎上前來，島貓先生則親切為我們介紹每一隻貓咪的名字。島上有超過60隻貓咪，花色各異，性格也大不相同，島貓先生卻能一眼認出他們，努力用簡單的英文跟我們說著每一隻貓的故事。男木島的路並不好走，陡上陡下，加上八月的陽光發威，沒多久我們就氣喘吁吁，但島貓先生依舊帶著笑容為每一隻咪咪拌飼料，換乾淨的水。貓咪有群聚性，一個地點聚著幾隻一起生活，為了盡量能餵到所有貓咪需要繞好大一圈，一趟巡禮走下來絕對超過一小時，島貓先生卻日復一日，為這些貓咪努力著。也由於他的認真（為島貓拍照，努力說著英文，為他們在社群媒體宣傳），男木島的可愛貓咪現在小有名氣，許多人上島觀光也是為了他們，卻也因此為島民帶來一些困擾。島上現存的貓咪都已經結紮，多年後，貓咪一隻一隻離開，是否還能喚起我們想回男木島的心？衷心希望大家一起支持島貓，讓這些貓咪和島貓先生都能有接班人，讓我們每年夏天...
