An easy 7-min taxi ride from our hotel in central Takayama, we were hoping for an excellent meal with Hida Beef as the centerpiece and we certainly got that (“oishii!”), but the service and more importantly the warm hospitality made it an event that’ll live long in the memory. The service was very professional but we felt like we’d been welcomed into a home, enjoying great conversation with our hosts.
