Worst dinning experience for our Kyushu trip so far (since 5/9).
Overpriced, below average seafood (uncooked), terrible shrimp soup (not fresh).
2 persons - ordered 1 kg oysters (large shell but skinny tiny oyster inside - pinky sized), 1 basket of clams (6 pieces), one steamed crab, one serving of corn (one corn cut in 3 pieces), one skewer of chicken skin, 1 tinfoil packet of asparagus, 1 can of beer, 1 can of carbonated plum wine drinks, 1 bowl of shrimp soup (tasted awful)…
The damage was ¥8,220, we left with a ruined appetite and a less than half full stomach. Didn‘t risk ordering anything else but went straight to another eatery not far away (Kaibou - miles better). Had two full lunch sets with a bigger better whole steamed crab in an a/c nicely-decorated environment - very enjoyable and it cost only ¥6500 in total (2nd & 3rd photo).
People may have different preference but for us the food/service/environment in this diner was really really...
