2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣0️⃣8️⃣0️⃣3️⃣ Rest stop for quick lunch and free foot spa by the lake. The water along the shore of the lake is quite hot due the underwater volcanic vents (so I'm told). Not sure if the whole lake is warm water. Must be pretty cool sight early in the morning where the cold air meets the warm surface of the lake. Damn ... good scene for a scary boat movie.

Oh, there was a legend of their own Nessie here too :) Bought a tshirt about it. No photo of their Kussie (nessie) though.

砂湯のレストハウスで、リニューアルされて湖側にレストランを新設されて、まさに屈斜路湖を望むレストランだ。

この屈斜路湖で１９７０年代に全国的に有名な伝説のクッシーを、モチーフにしたクッシーラーメンが人気だ。 長年のいもだんご、ソフトクリーム🍦も人気だ。

開店当時からの伝統の木彫りのショップが３店ある。真ん中の一馬さんは、連れの実家(売店)でも長らく熊🐻中心の彫り物を中心に営業をされていた。里帰りにはお邪魔している☺️。

このショップ内では、温泉が湧出していて、缶コーヒーや、ゆで卵が浸っているのだ✌️。

また店舗前には、木枠組みの「足湯」があり、冬場には白鳥も近くに羽休みにいるのだ👏。

遊びも懐かしい手こぎボートや、足こぎのスワンボートもあり、昭和の乗り物には、哀愁も感じる☺️。 さらに究極は、湖上遊覧のモーターボートだ。 数度乗ってるが、コースで料金は違う。 所要時間８分のショートコースで一人３.０００enからあるのだ👏。 中島一周の２５分で一人７.０００enとお手頃である。湖上を駆け抜けるスピードを体験しながら、屈斜路湖を周遊したいものだ👏。 ちなみにＦ...
