I stopped here with my daughter (13) after a day of hiking and beach play so we were plenty thirsty. We were going to the museum so it was a great surprise to see shaved ice ( kaki-kori ) here. We almost stopped for kaki-kori at a road stop stand along the way, but didn’t want to turn around. SOOOOO glad we didn’t.
I probably would have not bothered with the shaved ice, because normally for me it is just overly sweet carnival food, but this was home-made recipe from the proprietor (not the bulk sweetened syrup from normal stands) .
