Cafe Kana Kana — Restaurant in Tokyo

My friend showed me this cafe not far from where I live. The moment I seen the tenpei statue (robot from Castle in the Sky) outside the cafe I KNEW it was going to be a wonderful stop for lunch. The sandwiches and burgers were absolutely loaded with meat and veggies. They also obliged one of our friends who requested "light sauce" on her sandwich. The chips/fries were nice and crispy with a light layer of salt. The owners are super kind and try their best to accommodate their customers. If you’ve climbed this route up to lake Okutama, you’ve probably passed this spot either on the way up or down. It’s often too early or too late into the ride to stop so it takes a bit of pre planning to really enjoy this location. That said the atmosphere is great with the sound of the water nearby. The gentleman operating the cafe is super friendly and he makes a fantastic cheeseburger! It pairs great with an iced coffee or coke.
