Kind of hard to judge from the layout, but about 30 seats. Soothing and conversational atmosphere is very old Japanese, maybe even Edo Jidai for the sunken hearth, though mostly it strikes me as early Meiji. Feels like the old couple has been running it for many years. Old jazz music, with this song being IDed as "Footprints" by Miles Davis. No Wi-Fi or charging. I ordered the set from the wall, though maybe it was in the menu on a later page.
Strong cinnamon apple pie was excellent. Coffee is also quite flavorful. Easy to justify the strong four stars.
