LA PIZZERIA DA NINO — Restaurant in Toyonaka

Pro: delicious, affordable pizza Con: non-sensical rules (don't use this place as a meeting point)

Today I wanted to come to this restaurant for the 4th time, as I really love the food here. As the restaurant opens at 11:30, I queued starting from 11:10 to make sure I get a place. I was the first one in queue.

However, I had plans of sharing a meal with my boyfriend, who was supposed to arrive at 11:35. Well, do you think I got a place in the restaurant? No, I did not.

This place only lets you enter if your party is complete. Therefore the restaurant filled in front of me, along with 3 more people on the waiting list, and I was told I will be able to enter with my boyfriend after around an hour. ...this is after I explained to the staff that my boyfriend will only be 5 minutes late and I am ready to order right then and there (we already knew what we will get).

Lesson of the day? Don't come to this restaurant to meet someone or if you like logic and reason. You won't...

Great pizza. Best in Japan so far (as of April 2025). Not cheap, but not stupidly expensive. Nothing else is on the menu except pizza - this has allowed them to truly hone their pizza craft! Dessert there's only tiramisu and it is 😍 AMAZING (don't think there is any alcohol in it which is what normally puts me off it). Highly recommend coming here - be sure to book a table if it's the weekend so you're not disappointed. Cheapest pizza is 1400, Margherita is 1600. More toppings 1800. Bianca (no tomato sauce) pizzas are slightly more because cheese is expensive - cheapest...

ええ店、見つけました！ 味は抜群で、店主さんの人柄もとても気持ちよく、思わず通いたくなるお店です。しかもこのクオリティでこの価格…コスパ最高です！ あまりの満足度に、月2〜3回は通うことに決めました。

【ピッツァ好きの方へ】 こちらのピッツァは生地が薄く、耳も軽めの仕上がり。サイズは大きめで食べ応えがあり、コスパも文句なしです。

「さくらぐみ」はコース料理が最高でピッツァ以外の楽しみもありますが、ややお値段が張ります。 篠山の「クワモンペ」は昔よく通っていましたが、年々ピッツァが小さくなっており、最近はコスパ面でやや残念に感じています。

総合的に見て、「味・コスパ・雰囲気」すべてでNINOが堂々の1位！ 関西で美味しいピッツァを探している方には、ぜひおすすめしたいお店です。

Found an amazing place! The pizza here is absolutely delicious, and the owner is so friendly that it makes you want to come back again and again. Considering the quality and the price, the cost performance is just unbeatable! I was so impressed that I’ve decided to visit two or three times a month.

For pizza lovers: The pizza dough is thin with a light, crisp crust. The size is quite large, so it’s very satisfying, and the value for money is excellent.

Sakura-gumi offers an amazing full-course experience beyond just pizza, but it’s a bit pricey. Quamonpe in Sasayama used to be one of my favorites, but their pizzas have gotten smaller over the years, so the cost performance isn’t as good as it used to be.
