Albisola — Restaurant in Tsu

パスタランチを注文しましたが、パスタが出てくるまで40〜50分ほど待ちました。私達の後から来たお客さんへ先に提供していたので、私達は忘れられていたのかもしれません。「大変お待たせいたしました」等の言葉もなく、呑気な態度で提供され不愉快でした。味は美味しいけど二度と行きません。

We ordered a pasta lunch but waited about 40-50 minutes for the pasta to come out. Customers that came AFTER we ordered were served BEFORE us; the restaurant might’ve forgot our order until much later. It was a very unpleasant customer experience for us. When the pasta finally arrived, we were served without a simple "I'm so sorry to have kept you both waiting so long.” The taste was good, but we will never go to this restaurant (Albisola) again.

In addition to the Japanese and the English translation above: When I finally got my pasta, I believe the chef (a guy who came out of the kitchen, who was not dressed in a server’s uniform) served us. I was like, “Oh maybe he’s gonna tell me what happened or offer a sincere apology.” Nope, didn’t get that. Just the regular “omata seita shimashita” (sorry for the wait) which in Japan is the BARE MINIMUM. I get the “omata…” at McDonald’s even if I just waited 3 minutes. We expected more given the wait. Also, while were waiting, the person I was with and myself were visibly uncomfortable and I kept making eye contact with the server staff, but no one came by our table to check if everything was ok. That was bad customer service.

As I was paying, I told the cashier that we waited a long time and all she said was a perfunctory “sumimasen” (sorry) and a short bow of the head. Whenever this has happened before in Japan, we were offered an appetizer for free or given a sincere apology with an explanation. We did not receive that at all. I hope the restaurant reads this and that they improve they’re customer...

記念日等にディナーで何度か訪れました。 多分、ご家族で経営しておられるのか、一品ずつお料理が運ばれて来る度に、持ってくる方が、ご主人と思われる男性だったり、娘さんかと思われる女の子だったりします。忙しい中、人手が足りないので娘さんもバタバタと表情が必死になる程、頑張ってお手伝いしておられるみたいです。 店内にはゆっくりとした時間が流れていて、お料理を待っている間の時間もワクワク感があり、とても心地よく過ごせるお店です。 個人店ならではの楽しみ方ですね。お料理の提供を早くして欲しいだけの方は、既に加工してあるお料理を仕入れて提供されるチェーン店で楽しまれた方がいいと思います。 三重県の中勢地区は、洋食、イタリアン料理の強豪がひしめきあっている中、比較的新しいお店です。 イタリアンといえば、お客さんに女性が多いですが、アルビソーラさんは年配のご夫婦でも、十分にゆっくりと楽しめるお店です。 最後にここの立地ですが、少し分かりづらい所に建っています。そういう所も、大通り沿いにあるチェーン店とは違い、個人店ならではの知る人ぞ知...

10/1初訪問。

久しぶりに会う友人達との会食でお邪魔しました。 お店の雰囲気、料理の美味しさ、接客の良さ等でクチコミを頼りにいろいろ探していた所、こちらのお店に辿り着きました。 予約無しで行きましたが、ディナーの早めの時間だったからか席にも余裕があり、スタッフの方々の接客も良くてとてもゆったりと楽しい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。 注文した料理も数人でシェアして食べましたが、どれも美味しくて。見た目よりボリュームもありお腹いっぱいになりました。 全部美味しかったけど、特に海鮮丼とドルチェの桃のコンポートが絶品でした(⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) 巨峰のタルトも美味しかった〜。

レジで会計した時には手作りのマスクも頂き、気持ち良くお声掛けもして頂き、また来ようと思いました(⁠⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠⁠) 人気店なのも頷けます。 今回は結局食べれなかったパスタを次回は是非食したい！ てか、全メニュー制覇したい！www それくらいお気に入りになりました...
