Read moreBeing wildlife photographers, we visited Tsurui to see the Red-crowned Cranes. The cost of the dormitory style bungalow seemed reasonable as breakfast and dinner are included. It is actually 3 rooms that can accommodate up to 3 or 4 people per room. There is only one shower and toilet. It was hard to figure that out on the listing. We stayed 3 nights and with the exception of one night didn't have an issue regarding the sharing of the bathroom. Despite that, we gave Sachiko a 5 star rating for the delicious meals and warm welcome. We really love staying at this beautiful farmhouse at the top of the hill, but would recommend staying in the single cabin if you don't like to share a bathroom with strangers. The secluded location, the wildlife, the incredible freshly baked breads in the morning and great staff bring this rating to a 5. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing stay....
