I decided to give Kura Sushi another shot after being disappointed by the Dotonbori outlet two years ago — and I’m glad I did. This branch in Uji didn’t let me down. The sushi was decent in quality and very affordable. Don’t expect anything mind-blowing, but it’s perfect for those craving sushi without high expectations and who want to eat freely without worrying about the bill. It simply hits the spot.
