We stopped by here after skiing in Hyonosen, and went to the onsen nearby.

We stopped by here after skiing in Hyonosen, and went to the onsen nearby. I'm so glad that there's this place where we can relax a bit after a looooong drive. There's a hotel across from this one. Then there's a combini and a restaurant around the area too. So this is pretty convenient.

2024/06/02san10:30 曇〜晴れ 朝倉山椒の時期ということで来訪 土日は路線バスの本数がかなり少なく、八鹿(ようか)駅から、散歩がてら、そぞろ歩き。 地元のかたとあいさつや、雑談しながら、4km以上は歩きました笑笑 お腹空いたのですが、高速バスの時間もあり、但馬蔵さんの八鹿豚(ようかぶた)とんかつ弁当(1100円税込)をtakeout。 10分程度の待ち時間は、建物すぐ外の足湯でまったりできます。 豚肉の食感と旨みに、思わず豚名を再確認！ タレも甘すぎず、辛すぎず、酸っぱすぎず、山椒のフルーツのような香おりが良いバランスでした。また、コロモもサクサク、且つ臭みのない良い油で、飯もtakeout様のちょい硬で、とてもうまかったです🥰 遠いからなかなか行けないけれど、次回は付近の竹田城とからめて、また八鹿豚を食べに来たいです！ しかし、八鹿(ようか)といい、隣の養父(やぶ)といい、難しい漢字が自分には若干ストレスですわ😆古いいわれがあるみたいですネ。 cf717年以前に成立したという『播磨国風土記』には、「夜夫郡(やぶぐん）」という漢字で地名が表現されています。 追記　肝心の朝倉山椒を忘れてました。 ネット販売ではかなり高額ですが、 こちらでは、100g600円台で、定額販売されてます(納品に来たお母さんに伺いました) あえて、写真は載せません。
