Deliscious but inexpensive Italian course cuisine in Yamaguchi City suburbia. We paid 6500 yen including drinks for a four course meal (quiche and ham, pasta, steak, cake and ice cream and coffee. I drank the most - a beer and three glasses if red. There may have been fish too). The husband and wife, I think, team were prompt and curteous, but kept out of sight. The 10 of us workmates booked the place to ourselves from 18:30 till 21:00. I think that about 16 at maximum would fit. The price would be near double at the centre of town. The food seemed to have been prepared by a highly trained chef. They let us play our own music - we brought a CD and a colleague played sax. The only drawback for me was that nothing can really be seen from the windows (a hedge?). I wish there were a view of the mountains, which could be achieved by creating a window in the rear wall, but that would remind Japanese that they are still in Japan. 木の葉ランチ1200円、麦畑ランチ1800円を頂きました。 天井が高く、解放的なお店。観葉植物のモンステラの葉が印象的です。 コースの説明も分かりやすく、接客もおしぼりから手渡しで、丁寧です。 二種類のランチを、分けて楽しんでいたら、気を利かせてとりわけ用のお皿を用意して下さいました。 パンも温かく、量も多い。 パスタの種類が豊富、冷製パスタの麺は、素麺のように細く、バジルによく合っていました。 ムール貝のパスタの麺は少し平たい感じで、家庭ではなかなか味わえない味を楽しむことが出来ました。 デザートにバラのエディフルフラワーが入っており、目と舌で...
