I can only recommend this place, as they offered us a great experience (at least a funny one), while they were supposed to be closed. My boyfriend and I were staying in an hotel close to the lake and were looking for a place to eat, but due to the new year celebrations, everything was closed. The tenants of this place were having a thing with family and friends and thus the restaurant was supposedly closed. However, as they understood we were really hungry, they offered to cook pizzas for us, to go. While waiting for it, they offered us a tea and a woman gave us some stuff to warm our hands - it was freezing outside). We ate our pizzas outside, on a little picnic table, but it was really really nice. Afterwards, we had a little chat with some of their hosts close to a fire. It is one of our best memories from this trip to Japan and we will definitely never forget our "hungry hiking" to the New Mid! Thank you...
Read moreWhat an absolute hidden gem! We were recommended this spot staying in the same street from this cozy little pizza restaurant in the middle of nowhere and were so glad we went.
The Margherita pizza was one of the best we’ve ever had, simple, fresh, and full of flavour. The salmon was also cooked perfectly and just as delicious.
For the first little while we were the only ones there, but our server was so polite, attentive, and helpful that it made the experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and for the quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable.
A wonderful find that we’ll remember for a long time....

This is honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. We ordered the Carne (beef, onion and black olives) and the Four Cheese with honey. They both were excellent perfectly cooked, full of flavor and topped generously.
Two pizzas, a glass of wine and a bottle of beer came to ¥5,600.
The restaurant itself is small (seating around 10 people) and set inside a retro-style caravan, which adds tons of charm. The staff are friendly and mostly speak Japanese, but everything runs smoothly and it all adds to the experience.
Genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten absolutely...
