Saizeriya — Restaurant in Yokkaichi

Saizeriya is a family friendly chain restaurant that serves affordable Italian style food. Think of it as the budget friendly restaurant that Japanese people go to, when Japanese people don't feel like eating Japanese food and they've got a family of mouths to feed!

It's a large chain with many branches all over the place. We tried one at a local shopping mall in the town of Yokkaichi. The food wasn't stellar but for the price we paid, it was quite good.

The squid ink pasta was tasty but beware, it will leave you with a very black mouth so be sure to give your mouth a good wipe with the napkin afterwards and rinse well with lots of water!

We also ordered a couple of different shrimp salads, some rice dishes, some pizza and some kind of bread with cinnamon sugar on it. I think the one food I wouldn't bother ordering again from this place was the pizza. I found the pizza to be extremely subpar.

久々の親子でのサイゼリヤでした。

注文はテーブルにあるQRコードを自分の携帯で読み込み料理の番号を打って注文する形式でした。

入店19:45頃 注文19:55頃完了 閉店21:00 オーダーストップ20:30 20:15になると店内放送で 「オーダーストップ15分前…」のアナウンス 「オーダーストップ5分前です」のアナウンスが流れるものの注文してから20分くらいしてからようやくサラダ🥗が到着…食べ終わっても他のメイン料理がまったく届かない。 後から来たお客さんのテーブルには料理は届いてた。催促するのは厨房の状況を想像してしまうと言うに言えなくじっと料理を待ってましたが20:45になっても料理が届かなかった為 流石に15分で子供達に食べさせるのも難しいと判断し 催促せずに料理をキャンセルしました。

ここのサイゼリヤは料理提供が 他のサイゼリヤより遥かに遅いので あまりお勧めしません

また、メニューにアレルギー・塩分確認のQRコードがあり確認の為に読み込むも店内の電波が悪すぎて全く読み込めず...

後から入られた方に、私が注文した品と同じものがどんどん届くので、不安になりスタッフさんに確認した所、伝票が重なり提供を忘れていたとの事。

まあ忘れやミスは誰しも有ると思うのですが、確認すると言ったスタッフが戻ってこず、状況が分からない中待たされる、説明が無かったため、忘れていた料理を提供に来た際に「忘れていたんですか？」と訪ねると「店長呼びますか？」と不機嫌そうに言われました。

他の方のミスか分かりませんが、さすがにミスの後の対応では無いと思います。

最後に店長が来るまで、説明も有りませんでしたしね。
