Kiraku — Restaurant in Yorii Town

An absolutely exceptional culinary experience that will stay with me for a long time. My visit to Restaurant Kiraku was a gift for my 50th birthday—and I couldn’t have wished for a more meaningful celebration. From the moment you enter, there’s a sense of calm: the atmosphere is minimalist, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail inviting you to slow down and savor the moment.

The tasting menu was beautifully curated—each dish carefully composed, highlighting seasonal ingredients with a delicate sense of balance. Every plate was not only a delight to the palate but also visually striking. It’s clear that everything here is done with dedication, precision, and deep respect for Japanese culinary tradition.

The service was discreet, warm, and exceptionally attentive. A special highlight was the conversation with the owner lady of the house—she seemed genuinely content and fulfilled. Her very beautiful smile was radiant and reflected exactly what this place stands for: warmth, sincerity, and true hospitality.

For me, Kiraku was far more than just a dinner—it was a quiet, deeply moving experience, worthy of a special occasion. If you value quality, mindfulness, and authentic Japanese cuisine, this place is a rare gem. Wholeheartedly recommended.

追記２(2021年6月)： 前回の食事から約１年経ち、また、ランチの会席を予約して伺いました。 今回は5000円コースにしてみました。コースは4000円～6000円の３種類。その他に2500円位のお昼膳があります。

前回の6000円との違いは、土瓶蒸しがなかったのと、肉料理がなかったかな。 ただ、メニューは料理人にお任せなので、明確には分かりません。

個室で、中居さんが一品ずつ運んでくれて、どれもとても美味しいですよ。 贅沢な時間です。

追記(2021年6月)： 最近お総菜の販売もされてます。ホームページに載ってました。マグロが入ったというので、お刺身と、穴子の棒寿司を買ってきました。お総菜も美味しかったです。

昭和初期の建物を今でも使用していて、風情のあるお部屋で懐石料理が頂けます。 今回(2020年7月)は、ランチの6000円コース。 一つ一つ手の込んだ、素材の味を生かした料理を一品ずつ出してくれます。

離れのお部屋は、中庭が見え、床間に掛軸というまさに料亭という落ち着いたものでした。

和食懐石料理が季節感があり大変おいしくいただきました。季節をいただくにはたまには良いかなと思います。若大将やおかみさんとの会話もたのしいです。日本酒は大変研究をされいて食事にもよく合います。珍しいお酒も飲むことができます。日本酒がお好きな方にはお勧めです。日本料理屋さんということで少し敷居が高いようにも思われますが、そんなことは全然ありません。 お店の他にも奥に座敷があり大切な時を過ごす場合に利用するのもよいと思います。事前に予約をしていくとよいと思います。自分も予約をしてからうかがうようにしています。私は気兼ねがないようにお店の方を利用します。お弁当は人気があり以前法事の時に利用させていただきました。皆さんからおいしいお...
