Don't visit the restaurant !!!!! It is true that the location is amazing, and it is my fav place on earth, but the restaurant is not recommended at all, I contacted the restaurant in the morning to do a reservation for a birthday , the one who answered me said there is no need for a booking Never the less when I arrived there and having the birthday cake bought with me , I gave to the staff to put in cold place until we finish photo shooting, which I have done many times there, suddenly one from the staff members working in the restaurant called “Sahouri” walked towards me with my guests as if he is about to inform me about a disaster, asking me you are the owner of the cake , I told him yes, he told me you have to pay corkage fees for the cake, because we have cake in here, I told how about sharing this information on your menu on the website, then he told me you need to pay for the photos, even though they are private photos, I dont have a problem of money what I have problem in is the in-polite way I have been addressed with. On the other hand the food is not good , and the service is poor. I went to the cash to pay , and speak with manager, he came with an attitude , same as governmental employee style, and I was asking him about the location and ownership of RSCN where he was telling me the restaurant is private investment, which something I know already, but what I could not understand that the staff of restaurant thinks they are controlling the whole venue. The manager was super unfriendly , setting eating outside with the customers, came and barely was talking, they charged me extra 10 jd for photography without even asking me , then chraged me for dinner, the canceled cutting cake where I was planing to feed all tourists and other people in the location , but I canceled the idea and went to celebrate in other place , because I did not understand the reason for corkage fees on the cake. I have been a regular customer since 2008 not coming back to the restaurant anymore Such actions are the reason for the significant drop in the tourism sector , I strongly urge the responsible person , to pick more friendly staff,
I have faced this issue, while I am jordanian from Madaba, (local) , I wonder how tourists from outside jordan will face
Again the location is superb , but the restaurant there does not have the right staff, neither...
Read moreI recently visited the Dead Sea Panorama, and while I had a generally positive experience, there were a couple of aspects that I found somewhat disappointing. Overall, I would rate my visit as a 4 out of 5 stars.
Let's start with the positives. The Dead Sea Panorama offers a breathtaking view of the iconic Dead Sea and its surrounding landscape. The observation deck provides an excellent vantage point to take in the vastness of this unique natural wonder. The panoramic view is truly awe-inspiring, and it's an ideal spot for capturing stunning photographs.
The educational aspect of the site is also commendable. The informative displays and exhibits help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the geological and ecological significance of the Dead Sea. Learning about the hypersaline properties of the sea and the unique ecosystem it supports adds an enriching dimension to the visit.
However, there was one aspect of the Dead Sea Panorama that I found less appealing, and that is the admission fee. While I understand the need for maintenance and upkeep, I couldn't help but feel that the entry fee was somewhat steep. It would have been more enjoyable if access to the observation deck and the educational exhibits were complimentary or had a more reasonable cost. Paying to access a viewpoint can be a deterrent for some travelers, and I believe it might limit the accessibility of this remarkable natural wonder to a broader audience.
In summary, the Dead Sea Panorama is a must-visit for anyone traveling to the region. The stunning views and educational aspects make it a worthwhile stop. However, the entry fee did slightly dampen my overall experience, and I hope that in the future, there might be more affordable or inclusive options for visitors. Despite this minor drawback, I would still highly recommend a visit to the Dead Sea Panorama for the remarkable views and the opportunity to learn about the Dead Sea's unique...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit this charming establishment that left a lasting impression on me. This place had an amazing ambiance, friendly staff, and served delicious food. However, I feel compelled to address an issue regarding the pricing, which I believe does not align with reality.
One particular incident stood out during my visit. I ordered a double-sized Turkish coffee and was surprised to be charged 5.5 JD for it. When I inquired about the price, the staff explained that the management decision only allowed for the selection of two standard cups of coffee. While I appreciate their explanation, I couldn't help but feel that the price I paid was not logical or justified.
This occurrence saddened me because I genuinely enjoyed my experience at this establishment. However, it also highlighted a potential reason why people may not be frequenting the place as much as they could. Pricing plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining customers, and it is important to consider realistic and logical pricing strategies that encourage repeat visits.
Overall, the friendly staff and the quality of the food make this establishment worth visiting. However, I sincerely hope that the management takes into account the feedback provided regarding the pricing strategy. With more competitive and logical prices, this place has the potential to become even more popular among locals and...
