This is a very quaint place. Serves breakfast 24/7 and certainly boast a cool vibe. Use the bus, taxi, car, or walk here. Just a quick way over from botanical garden. Menu had pictures for non locals, an ordering button on the table for when you’re ready, and service was prompt. We sat on the second floor and enjoyed views of the entire restaurant.

Food was delicious. Horse burger was tasty despite our apprehension and potatoes that came with were excellently done. Additionally it came with a Kazakh summer drink that is veryyyy interesting. Tary cafe in Astana is a cozy spot in Kazakh traditional style, perfect for a short break while exploring the city. It’s located near main sights like the Botanical Garden and the Triumphal Arch, so easy to find if you’re walking around. I had chai with tary — very nice and warm, especially with the millet flavor. I also tried the brownie, but honestly, it was too sweet for me. If you go, I’d recommend getting baursak with irimshik instead. Overall, good place...

Very nice place. They serve great food. I ordered a bowl of salad. It was different kinds of vegetables and grains in the bowl. It was very good. I loved the pomegranate seeds mixing with other grains in each bite. The pomegranate added great flavor.

Boursak is traditional Kazakh bread and this place serves great ones.
