Mon Ami — Restaurant in City of Kisumu

Mon Ami is rather hit or miss. They have a great location inside Mega City mall and it's outdoors and very spacious. They have a very lengthy menu. Their customer service is decent. It will not blow you away. The food isn't bad really but it will not blow you away either. Some of the prices could blow you away given the quality of food. Service was too slow yet there were not so many patrons around.

The waiters were not aware of what was available and the one that served us didn't know that the establishment offered what we had ordered.

The staff look overwhelmed or are just not in a rush to serve locals.

Our drinks orders took a long time to be prepared and when my tamani jua came it was not all that. It was too sugary for my liking.

I recently got married and was lucky enough to have our Sangeet Night hosted at Mon Ami.

We chose this venue for the beautiful setting, great catering, and responsive and caring service - and we were blown away.

Nirmal and Minaz were excellent in making sure that all our guests' dietary requirements were met - guests with severe allergies were personally attended to.

The food was excellent - perfect flavour and spice, with a great variety.
