Nestled in a tranquil corner of a vast, lush forest, the cafe is a hidden sanctuary that transports you far away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. As you approach, the sweet scent of pine and damp earth envelops you, hinting at the refreshing escape that awaits. Upon entering, you’re immediately embraced by the crisp, invigorating air that flows through the open spaces, complimented by a gentle, cool breeze that brings with it the soothing whispers of nature—leaves rustling softly and birds serenading with their melodic chirps.
The cafe is beautifully surrounded by a diverse array of Indigenous trees, each one a testament to the beauty of the local ecosystem. Towering oaks stand sentinel alongside delicate birches, while sturdy pines add height and depth to the scenery. The dappled sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a patchwork of light and shadow on the ground, making the outdoor seating area feel like a cozy alcove in the heart of nature.
Inside, the atmosphere is equally inviting. The staff exude genuine warmth and hospitality, welcoming you with bright smiles that instantly set you at ease. Their demeanor is attentive yet unobtrusive, always ready to assist while allowing you to savor the peaceful surroundings. The service is impressively efficient; our drinks arrived within moments, perfectly crafted and impeccably presented. Although we only sampled the café's beverages, they left a lasting impression, making me eager to explore their culinary offerings on another visit.
One aspect that truly stood out was the immaculate condition of the washrooms, which were spotless and well-maintained. This attention to cleanliness enhanced the overall experience, reflecting the cafe's commitment to creating a pleasant environment for all guests.

Read moreToday I must complain about handling of our reservation and choice of table. When I called yesterday to make a reservation I mentioned would be about 6 people and it was my Dad's 86th birthday
On arrival mentioned 2 unable to make it we would be 4 now. We were taken to a small table close to stairs. No matter finally settled. Next to every we sat 4 round tables set with the cloth and flowers versus where we we put. I noted for the 2 hours we sat and had meal nobody came to.the empty places.
Then we told menu QR on side. Sorry 😞 this unacceptable who says everyone compliant and some do not carry mobile phones to resturants as a rule. We insisted on Proper Menus which were brought and so tatted for such a prestigious resturant. Service was OK nothing special. Soups were okay however rest of our order was medium not hot. I m sorry but after several visits to this resturant we have found its running down. It's a shame really.
One thing which was unacceptable was be told before even settling down we have just 2 hours as it's a busy time. EXCUSE US what sort of business is this we are not coming for coffee and snacks BUT a full course lunch. Our bill for 14300 was not peanuts. We skipped dessert because felt rushed. Yet there were still many empty tables. I do not think we shall return or recommend your Resturant as we felt very uncomfortable and being my father's birthday lunch and his first visit to be totally...
Read moreWe have visited this place on a few occasions. And each time we have received a friendly welcome and always found a table. It is very busy throughout the day but if you want a table? Avoid the obvious busier times, lunch, dinner.... "simples". They have wheelchair access and ramps. A kids play area (next to the crocodile 🐊) .. (a metal one 😨). They serve great food, cold beers, hot drinks. You can smoke 🚬 here too, without breaking the rules.(designated area with tables and seats). If you are lucky, you will see some monkeys passing through the trees and on to the roof of the Café. We were there at 17:20 when the Monkeys 🐒 came through. Good photo opportunity 📸 for you young David Bailey's (Google him). There are also toilets & hand wash facilities. Plus Covid Protocol. Masks to enter, hand wash station (tip: use the pedal). Oh 1 more thing...there isn't always a River, Brooke, stream, burn or trickle at the...
