Soaring Eagle Spur Kenya — Restaurant in Nairobi

Located on Mombasa road just next to Nextgen mall and it's in the same building as Eka hotel. The first thing that strikes you the moment you enter the restaurant is the aroma of sizzling steak very appealing. I ate steak and pork ribs that was accompanied by onion rings and chips. However for the aged steak it might take you a while to chew on. And I'd attest I've never tasted steak so good it was very tender in the inside, easy to slice your knife through, full of juices and the flavours were very consistent. Their portions are very generous the food was very filling and they're very affordable for such a portion I can say it's a pocket friendly place. Their milkshakes especially the chocolate one very authentic that's the one I tasted.I also had their punch and I loved every bit of it one can taste all the fruits in it it's not too concentrated or too dilute it's just right.The ambience is good the interior decor and the lighting especially in the evening is splendid the terrace is not so cold at night as well so you can have a nice time there. The staff is very friendly and warm however one thing I didn't quite like how long the waitress took to bring us the bill after we'd asked for it and even with that she apologized and still took quite a long time to collect the money and bring back the balance the wait was very frustrating because it was also getting late. Other than that it's a place I'd definitely go back to all day any day stop by whenever you find yourself along...

My colleagues and i went for an after work thing. We were close to 30 people and there was ample space reserved for all of us at the balcony, with enough privacy.

The native american decor/theme caught me by surprise. The cultural appropriation jumped out,especially after later finding out it's a South African entity, but that's a conversation for another day. Also,for some reason I was told to stop taking pictures. Idk if that's an isolated incident with me or everyone is advised not to. 🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿🤷🏿‍♂️ so just a heads up to everybody.

Anywayyyy,we ordered everything and anything. I tried the enchiladas for the FIRST time and wasn't disappointed.😋they were well done,filling and the melted cheese coating was just PERFECT! 👌🏿the rest of the gang had wings, ribs, calamaris that were alot. OMG!! their portions were INSANE!!😮definitely worth it. Drinks were also in plenty; I opted for my staple vanilla milkshake which really came through. For dessert, some of us took the waffles as takeaway. true to brand, no complaints, top quality product!!

However,our orders took a while to get to us, but i think that was bc of our huge number. The waiters tried their best to take the orders but maybe got overwhelmed bc we had to constantly remind them. It was no biggy tho,we were quite understanding of the situation /circumstance and had a great time at the end...

Went for lunch to the one at Eka Hotel. The food was really heavenly, we had riblets and fries(they have a kiddies menu, PERFECT!), a combo meal: that had chicken,ribs,steak and wors( this was a lot so we ended up bagging the leftovers) oh yeah, it comes with fries and a side of their famously yum onion rings. We also ordered a salad that was so fresh and delicious with a really nice dressing. I'm definitely going back for that! The portions were pretty good They have a kids playing area too!
