Lebnani Restaurant - مطعم لبناني — Restaurant in Shaab

Me and my family have been loyal costumers to this restaurant for years. During our last visit, we were all greatly disappointed by too many things.

The food: It felt like all the chefs were replaced by amateur chefs who have never made Lebanese food before. Over seasoned food and the spices added were quite unbalanced. Very disappointing

Service: For the first time ever, the service we received in this restaurant was EXTREMELY bad. A waitress in particular seemed rather bored and unwilling to do any work. Is the restaurant losing money and decided to hire unskilled workers who prefer to get paid without doing anything? Because this is the impression we got.

Thankfully, the atmosphere remained the same as it has always been. However, due to our great disappointment and our promise to never return to this restaurant, I won't give it 5 stars

I also would like to note that the packaging for our takeaway order can only be described using the word "disgusting". The sauces served alongside the stuffed lamb were both added and mixed in 1 container. I also would like to ask the same question again: Are you losing that much money you decided to cheapen out even on the packaging? Once again, we are not coming back. I used to be a frequent customer of this restaurant, but it seems I'll stop going there for some reasons: no available parking for the handicapped. the waiters have a way in dealing with customers, i didn't like it. For example: i sat in the restaurant when all the tables were empty, made my order, they kept it on the table and left. Other customers came after me, sat on the table next to mine, they were served with a big bowl of fresh vegetables. No idea why, but it happened anyway. the taste of the food changed, it's not like what it used to be. For example: their vine leaves were the best, full of lemon and sour. This time, it was tasteless. Same thing applies to their mix grills, absolutely tasteless, like chewing plastic. this restaurant is famous for playing fairoz's songs, yet i was there for about 2 hours and never heard her sing. I even asked them to play her songs, but with no response. way too expensive for their dishes, same dishes somewhere else would've been...

The treatment of customers sucks by reception staff avoid! When the staff welcomed us in, the place was almost empty except for a couple of tables. I pointed out on a table to take and the staff mentioned that it was reserved so we sat on a table next to it. It was less than a five minutes later when to ladies walked in and pointed at the same table and the staff removed the reserved sign and sat them. When I asked about this issue he came with the a silly excuse that the reservation has just been cancelled. No excuse given to satisfy my question.
