This hotel has so many positive reviews that I decided to book one of their yurts online. The setting is fabulous and also the hotel structure itself. I arrived and decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant, after the quick check-in. I had chicken skewers, rice and a soup. I woke up very early morning with stomach pain, sweating and a terrible gastro-intestinal upset (I won't say more details for decency). Reception checked on me in the late morning why I didn't show up for breakfast. I told them about the food poisoning. They asked me if I needed a black tea or medicine and, as I was dehydrated, I asked for a chamomile herbal tea. I was weak, sweaty and with cramps in my stomach. In the afternoon reception called again to check on me and see if I needed food. I kindly declined as I couldn't keep in my stomach not even water. By the afternoon it was clear that the situation was not going to be any good so I wanted to reach the capital, Bishkek, see a doctor and, if possible, fly back home. So I called reception and asked to book a taxi to Bishkek. At check out, to my big surprise, I was asked to pay the bill and the taxi as well. I kindly asked if I really had to pay the bill and reception say "yes"; they discounted me only the dinner (that caused my food poisoning!) and that was it. Not a single "sorry" or an apology. Even for the taxi I was charged 2.000 SOM when a Namba Taxi from Bishkek to Supara Chunkurchak is 950 SOM; practically the double! All in all a very nice place but from the managment side there's no soul and no consideration for the customer. I've worked in the hospitality industry myself and in these unfortunate events you:

  1. apologize
  2. cancel the bill
  3. offer a voucher/upgrade for a free stay I hope this review will help the management to re-consider their customer care service policies. Thank...

Our one-night stay at Supara Chunkurchak was nothing short of magical. We arrived on a snowy day, and from the moment we checked in, everything was seamless. The staff welcomed us warmly and even set up a fire in the fireplace to keep us cozy. When we requested more firewood, they promptly refilled it, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay.

Our yurt, located on the second line, was incredibly spacious with a comfortable bed that made for a restful sleep. A delightful surprise awaited us a complimentary locally made chocolate, which was absolutely delicious. We later found out that this chocolate is also available at the restaurant’s bar, making it easy to enjoy more of this treat. The view from our yurt was breathtaking; the mountains and trees were fully covered in snow, creating a winter wonderland.

Waking up the next morning, we were greeted by dense fog and zero visibility, but at around 7:30 AM, the sun rose, revealing the stunning beauty of Supara Resort and its surrounding nature. It was a sight to behold.

We then headed to the restaurant for breakfast, and without exaggeration, the food was outstanding. The buffet offered a variety of fresh and unique salads, delicious soup, flavorful main dishes, and exceptional desserts. Even the coffee was top-notch. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly attentive and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Checkout was as smooth as check-in, and we truly appreciated the excellent service from start to finish. For those looking for more adventure, there are nearby ski resorts, adding to the appeal of the location.

Supara Chunkurchak is a highly recommended place to stay when visiting Kyrgyzstan. The hospitality, breathtaking scenery, and outstanding food make it an unforgettable experience. We would...

We could experience the traditional Yurtz renditioned with modern amenities at Supara. The resort is located quite deep within the Supara Valley and access (by road) was a daring journey in itself. The rooms are well appointed, blending the best of traditional with the modern amenities. Access is by stairs/steps, we did find it difficult and had to take few breathers now and then (blame it on our health). Your bags will be hauled by the attenders though. The restaurant had amazed us beyond expectations. Due to maintenance activities, the only dining space was the top level which I’m told otherwise is reserved for special booking/charges. Both European and Traditional Kryg cuisine/menu is offered. We ordered (for lunch and dinner) their Kaiyma (ramen noodle soup with meat balls), Chicken Fried dish (from the European menu), Chicken Pizza and a Steak. Breakfast (inclusive in our stay) was a feast, with a wide spread of Kryg choices and limited (but not restricted) European/Continental options. The folks here know how to cater to different taste palettes. I could sense that the ingredients used are local made. The berry jams were excellent. Do not miss these. Apart from the stay and food, there is a 2km beginner walking trail, a stream that runs downhill to Supara where you could book a horse ride up/down. One should plan a full day here and not limit to just crashing for the evening/night. Supara offers nature that can be enjoyed in tranquillity and quietness.

One of our favourite stays in Kyrgyzstan! A true Kyrgystani stay in a surreal nature setting showcasing their beautiful culture. I came here with my family at the beginning of August, and we stayed in two yurts next to each other (each yurt fits 3 people). The yurts were very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breathtaking view from the yurt was definitely the highlight of the stay though. Loved having our morning coffee overlooking the mountains and valley. The breakfast buffet was very fresh and delicious and had plenty of choices to suit everyone's tastebud. We also tried their restaurant for dinner and loved everything we ordered. (Note: that there is no kitchen in the yurts, so you can't cook your own food, there's only a kettle. And there is no close by supermarket or stores so make sure to bring extra snacks/fruits/drinks with you). You can also do archery for free and horse riding at an extra cost. Also, if you don't have your own SUV car, you can arrange to book a taxi with them to pick you up. We had a driver pick us up from our hotel in Bishkek; a very friendly and skilled driver so highly recommend this service as you need someone who knows the mountain roads very well. An amazing experience if you're in Kyrgyzstan!
