SIERRA Coffee Karakol — Restaurant in Karakol City

Disappointing - we came here last night for dinner and had a nice meal. Tried again for breakfast this morning and it was a completely different experience. We ordered two bowls of granola at 0930 and were still waiting for them at 11:00. By way of explanation, we were told that some other big groups had come in after we ordered that needed serving. We did notice that several other people came, received food and left in the time we were sat there. They also seemed to be doing a hotel buffet which might explain why they could not serve the granola we ordered. We left without any breakfast and were not even offered our drinks for free, despite wasting nearly half our day waiting for some cereal! Maybe fine for lunch and dinner but avoid for breakfast if you want to...

I hate to give such a low rating because I visit the Bishkek branch almost everyday when I am in the city without issue.

All started well, the lady greeted, approached and gave the menu immediately and asked if I would like to order, but I requested two minutes to quickly look over the menu.

About 20 minutes pass and she does not return. I would say in 90% of establishments the waiter approaches to take the order, maybe I was wrong and I was supposed to go to the cashier desk to order myself, but how am I supposed to know when the opposite is customary in most cases?

Anyway, I started to feel very embarassed and angry for waiting so long in front of other customers and decided to leave hungry...

Ordered food and drinks at 21:15, received drinks at 21:30. I can understand it takes a bit long because it was busy in the restaurant. Around 22:30 I asked where my food was. I was basically falling asleep at my table. The lady tells me she forgot to place my order and the kitchen is closed now... This is absolutely ridiculous.

Any decent restaurant would at least try to fix this by serving me something quick. I'm staying in the hotel next - door and there are no other restaurants in the area so there's no chance I could find dinner anywhere at this time...

I had meals before in this restaurant and the food was delicious but what happened now is...
