Good restaurant, it’s one of this part of town that looks similar and it was indeed similar to the other ones. We were served fast but we were the only one there. I took the curry and the portion was good! The taste was good, nothing special, tofu tasted good too. Prices were average, it’s almost the same as everywhere in town. The fried eggplant was good portion too! And the noodle soup tasted good according to my friend. You have multiple vegetarian options, many veggies stir fried like eggplant or pumpkin and then curries. The restaurant was also comfy and the staff was easy to talk to.

Nice people, service didn’t take too long, but unfortunately the place feels dirty, plates and silverware aren’t washed well, and worst of all we got rice that seems like it was handled in a very dirty way - ants all over, hair, rocks… This is Laos, so our expectations are low to begin with. That doesn’t mean that we must accept dirty food. There are clean good restaurants in Nong Khiaw. See our other reviews. We didn’t touch the rice, paid and left without a word. We won’t eat here again.

Such a welcome surprise, the food was delicious and the portions were large, with reasonable prices. This place stands out from the others we visited in the area, the flavor and preparation is more like a real restaurant or even a Chef was involved. Most other places are very basic like you're eating a family meal. We had the Egg Roll, potato omelet, and Pancake mango chocolate, all three were excellent! we will be coming back for dinner as well. Free hot Tea and/or drinking water!

I stumbled upon this new restaurant by chance while looking around for a place to eat. There is no sign yet, but they are right across from Toon Poh restaurant. The lady who runs the place is a great cook. She doesn't speak English, but the simple menu is self-explanatory. I've eaten here three times during my stay in Nong Khiaw and I have not been disappointed. I had the stirred fried chicken and papaya salad, it was delicious. The Nong Khiaw pork sausage was also excellent. The smoothies here are best I had in Laos and it is cheap! They don't add sugar to their smoothies! If you are in the area, I highly recommend you give them a try. You will not be disappointed. These are humble people, please give them a chance and be patient with the service since it's only one...

We were here for dinner and during our visit we experienced the probably rare situation of having a completely full restaurant. The family/owner was clearly speechless of the amount of guests and didn't expect to have to cook that many dinners tonight - and that's why it was impressive to see how they mobilised all their family members, neighbours and friends to make sure all their guests had a good time.

For the food: we really enjoyed our fried eggplant and the curry, the Mango sticky rice was a huge portion and we payed a reasonable price for everything.

In all the hustle and bustle we still felt very welcome and comfortable and would definitely...
