Marupes Pizza and Sushi — Restaurant in Mārupe

I hope this will be a temporary review and I will have a chance to re-edit and get better experience

Been there today at 2 or 3 minutes to 22:00 didnt know they are closing at 22:00 the girl there said they are closing while there where still people outside, i don't know during this time small business i would make another pizza and send a happy costumer home. I worked in pizza place over 25 years ago you can have a pizza made in 8m so that is the reason for the low score I haven't tasted it but I went there due to recommendation on Google just was disappointed from the attitude

The curry chicken pizza is tasty and so is the teriyaki noodles. However, there are some price issues the waitress or the owner could have done well. First thing is the menu does not mention that "CUSTOMER HAS TO PAY FOR THE DEPOSIT OF THE DRINK" We were shocked that we have to pay for the deposit as foreigners. Secondly, the waitress asked my gf if she wanted the sauce without informing her that she needed to pay. The third problem is that we ordered a 0.3l coke, but it turned out it is only 0.25l, which made us feel like it is a scam. Overall, the food is good, but there are a lot of unclear things...

Four and a half stars I'd rather say. Will not comment much, they need a bit more time and so do we - to learn if they're living up to the really huge demand and I guess unexpected popularity they have achieved in no time. Pizza they serve is not a pizza, but sushi's reasonably good and has in general improved with time. They're surely learning by doing but who will stop sooner - guests expecting more or MPS exploring new ideas how to develop the menu, service and facilities. I wish them best...
