We booked for the Eid holidays 2 months prior. Arrived there to have been seated outside in a nice area but arguably the worst table in the place. We stayed put and didn't say anything. Took the waiters a good solid 10 minutes for them to approach our table only for them to continuously keep dropping their luke warm water bottles without asking us. Finally, after some back and forth waiter approached us and took our order, almost feeling annoyed that he's doing his job. We felt rushed.
Food came rather quickly and the appetizers, to be fair, were good. The grills which are typically brought down some time after the appetizers came with the appetizers. The grilled meat in the plate looked pale and almost translucent, looking closer to boiled meat than grilled. The kafta was a rolled grainy stick. The tawook was grilled since maybe yesterday, overly done that a canine will probably struggle to chew.
After we finished, we asked the waiter if we can move to a nicer table to have ice cream as the place had emptied up and the majority of tables were empty. He said yes and we shifted there as he took our order. Few minutes later the incompetent "manager" came to us and requested us to move to another table. This table was even worse than the one we were sitting on. It was stuck right in front of pillar and the fifth person would have had a solid concrete wall pillar view. I told him we asked the waiter if we can move to this nice table for a quick dessert and we didn't do so on our own merit.
I politely mentioned that we were just sitting here for 5 minutes for dessert. He said no because he has other people booked for that table. What other people? The place was literally 90% empty at almost 4pm. I said we booked 2 months in advance and you initially gave us the worst table and we didn't say anything. He continued to argue and I just asked him to cancel the desert and bring us the bill.
In a typical non apologetic Lebanese manner who always has a response, he said "ma bada za3al". There it was, the pinnacle of unprofessionalism and rudeness on display for all to see. Not sure how L'os put this person as a manager but personally I would have him placed somewhere in the kitchen (at best), not customer front facing.
Long story short he didn't care one bit, didn't offer an apology and pretty much insured none of to come back again. While these restaurants have a heavy footprint and don't care whether you come back or not, I strongly suggest other places such as Shams and Fakhreddine who have superior food and way better service.
Thanks L'os but you failed at all fronts and never to...
Read moreL'Os continues to shine as one of Lebanon's finest Lebanese restaurants. The dining experience was nothing short of amazing. One of the first things that struck us was the generous portion sizes, ensuring that no one leaves the table feeling anything but content.
The staff's attentiveness added to the overall positive experience, even during a busy Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was packed. This level of service is truly commendable and enhances the overall dining experience.
The only minor drawback was the noise level in the indoor area, which, while not disruptive, could get a bit lively at times. However, this was a minor inconvenience in comparison to the overall positive experience.
What truly impressed us was L'Os' unwavering commitment to maintaining the high quality of their food. They have consistently delivered exceptional Lebanese cuisine, and our recent visit was no exception. It's reassuring to know that L'Os has not compromised on its food quality over the years.
Tip: don't miss out on their garlic...

The staff is attentive, making you feel like you’re the only guest dining there. The menu features a variety of delicious Lebanese dishes, all fresh and full of flavor—the true Lebanese bite. We enjoyed raw meat, which was exceptionally tasty, a testament to the restaurant’s high standards and trustworthiness. Our meal was paired with Arak Le Brun, which complemented the mezzeh and barbecue perfectly. A small tip: when ordering dessert, keep in mind that each portion serves only one to two people. The restaurant also offers valet parking, making the experience even more convenient. Whether you’re planning a family outing or inviting friends, L’Os is a great choice.
