LaYali AlQamar ليالي القمر — Restaurant in Beqaa Governorate

The restaurant was extremely disappointing. Although the location and view were stunning, the food was terrible. The vegetables weren’t fresh, and the meat and taouk were so overcooked they were crunchy. Even the tabbouleh was dry and flavorless, and the fattoush had soggy bread that completely ruined the texture.

When we pointed this out, instead of apologizing or offering to replace the dishes, the waiter simply said, “It’s fine, just deal with what you have, this is what the kitchen sent out .” To make things worse, we weren’t the only ones upset — people at other tables were clearly frustrated and even got into arguments with the staff.

What made it even more embarrassing is that I had guests visiting from abroad with me. I felt humiliated in front of them because of how poorly everything was handled.

If you can’t run a proper restaurant, maybe it’s better to open a café instead. Honestly, this was the worst food experience I’ve had in all of Lebanon.

We ordered a mixed barbeque plate, the meat and the kebab were so smelly and had a discusting taste ... Ate one kebab from the whole dish and called the waiter to send the dish back. I actually threw up after taking one bite of the kebab .. he said he'll tell the chef , yet nothing happened, didn't send us another plate, the plate stayed on the invoice 27,0000 , and the waiter actually agreed with us that the kebab isn't made in a good way after stating that I am pregnant and it can really harm me and the baby ... Such a loss it's such a beautiful place. Someone could really get poisoned from...

Delicious food, very fast service, friendly staff, and such a beautiful scenery to gaze upon. Must visit if you’re in the area, as it’s definitely worth it. If you like Lebanese food, must try the grills, frogs, birds (if available), and mezza to complement them! 4-star rating and leaning...
