I rarely write a review, but this restaurant was one of the poorest experiences in Lebanon. I feel the one star is an overrating. The location is charming, it’s deceiving as it’s the only good aspect about the place. Claiming to be from Zahle, unfortunately, on all levels it was a terrible choice. Hygiene is bad, service is appalling, and the quality of the food is terrible. All waiters with masks below their chins. We ordered fattoush, chicken liver, cheese rolls, stuffed grape leaves, ballila, chankleish and a few other appetizers, everything was poor and tasteless. The shanklish tasted rotten. The liver was old and loaded with oil. I have gluten sensitivity, I asked for a fattoush without bread. The salad was an amalgamation of old leftovers with old bread inside. Under the tables there were chicken bones, food leftovers and broken glass. The waiters were scattered all over the place without paying any attention to us. We asked for the bill and left with a great disappointment. On our way out, I shared the issues we faced with the owner, he was defensive and as a way to apologize, he proposed offering us ice-cream, which we weren’t interested in.

Absolutely loved our experience at Al Wadi! Everything we ordered was super fresh and incredibly delicious—each dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The quantity of food is generous, and the quality is excellent. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the view makes it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting—definitely worth it!

Food is very good. Setting is beautiful. Service is 4/5 … but there are 100s of bees 🐝 yes, bees!

1 star is an exaggeration, on all aspects the worst experience ever. Starting from the service we waited more than 20 min for someone to take our order. We ordered fattoush, hommos, moutabal, fries, sambousek, kebab and arayes kafta. Literally the fattoush was from leftovers couldn’t eat it I asked them to replace it they replaced it with fresh vegetables but no sauce, the hommos and moutabal are tasteless, fries barely fried and sunk with oil, kebbe barely fried golden from the outside but raw from the inside. They forgot to serve the kafta arayes. Never the less the customer service is very bad. Truly one if the worst experiences in Lebanon, to be fair the only positive aspect of the restaurant was its location...

The location and setting is good. However food is terrible. Hommos tasted nothing like hommos, fattoush was soaked in vinegar. Meat kebab tasted like vomit, veal meat was very salty and the chicken was so so. The olive oil on the table smells rancid. Overall all low quality food and overpriced. Very stingy as a lebanese restaurant. Fruits they served in the end weren't even washed. Overall really bad experience. It is sad though that most restaurants in lebanon have become very expensive with very poor...
