Monroe Chicken and Monroe Bar & Grill is one of my favorite places to visit in Monrovia. The restaurant has a great customer service, fast wifi connection, and their chickens are great. It's my favorite thing to eat there. Their Chicken Sandwich is also great. They have a great space for parking and also a space for children's games.
The restaurant is located in the heart of Monrovia, making it easy to get to. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and well-lit, with a modern decor. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always willing to help you choose the perfect meal.
The menu at Monroe Chicken and Monroe Bar & Grill features a variety of chicken dishes, as well as burgers, sandwiches, and salads. I highly recommend the fried chicken, which is cooked to perfection and served with your choice of sides. The chicken sandwich is also a great option, and it comes with your choice of fries or onion rings.
The restaurant also has a full bar, with a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. I like to order a beer with my meal, and the selection of beers on tap is always good.

One of the worst service experiences I've had in a restaurant in Monrovia, Liberia. This establishment, trying to model after global quick-service brands like KFC, Chicking, or Subway, falls far below even basic standards of efficiency and professionalism.
We ordered pizza, a chicken snack box, and Coke. Shockingly, the drink was served only after we had nearly finished eating. And to make things worse, they brought diet Coke without informing us. When we clarified that we are not diabetic and asked for regular Coke, they finally brought it—with a disrespectful attitude—claiming our drink was "just served."
It’s important to note: we were the only occupied table in a restaurant with over 17 tables. There was absolutely no excuse for this delay or the careless, dismissive behavior of the staff.
Monrovia urgently needs proper international food chains with truly professional quick service, trained staff, and customer respect. This kind of poor experience reflects the lack of proper management and training.

Read moreThank you for reaching out to me — I truly appreciate that you took the time to ask. Very few places take customer complaints seriously and investigate them this deeply. In fact, it’s usually the customers who care about your service and want to return that take the time to give feedback. Below are the details of my experience.
I visited on Sunday, 1st June 2025, around 6:00 PM for dinner and opted for dine-in.
The pizza arrived after a long delay of about 40 minutes.
We ordered potato chips earlier, but they were brought later along with the pizza, and only after we reminded the waiter.
We ordered Sprite with lemon, but the lemon was delivered separately much later.
Overall, the customer service was very poor and disappointing.
I hope this feedback helps you improve your service. Looking forward to a better...
