Oh, goodness, so much to say. The waitress, although pleasant, couldn't tell us anything about the items on the menu (which is HUGE). Maybe she was new. Shame on them for not training her AT ALL. The prices were among the highest I have seen in all of Monrovia, so I hoped the food would be good. What a foolish assumption.
I ordered the beef quesadilla, which was greasy unseasoned beef and cheese between charred tortillas. No salsa or anything similar even available. My companion ordered the seafood pasta. It was tepid, with a flavorless sauce, and the pasta cooked to mush. Neither of us could eat more than a fraction of our meals. The prices were HIGH.
I ordered a margarita. I received tequila with lime juice and water. When I asked to speak to the bartender, he readily acknowledged that he didn't have the proper ingredients available to make the drink properly. So why serve something that you KNOW isn't okay?!?
We ordered white wine instead. The wine was served warm. The bartender didn't know the difference between a varietal, such as sauvignon blanc, and a vineyard or brand name. 😳
We sat outdoors to be safer due to COVID-19. We didn't realize that people smoking shisha can sit anywhere and choke out their fellow diners.
Honestly, this was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had in...
Read moreI feel cheated. Coming from the airport hungry, after flying all day, my driver took me here to buy some takeout before checking into my hotel. I ordered half flame chicken only to arrive my hotel and realise that each of the two pieces was mostly stripped of flesh, leaving only little flesh clinging to the bones. I make this review so that the owner will see it, hoping that this was done by the kitchen staff on their own, and not the style of the restaurant. For now, I won’t border going there next time. I feel very strongly about this...
Read moreOrdered a Cesar Salad for $14 and got a lot of lettuce, maybe a half tomato (sliced), couple pieces of cucumber and lots of croutons. No grilled chicken or grilled salmon or shrimp and the dressing was not even Cesar's. Had a Cesar Salad from Harbel restaurant on Randall Street for 9 bucks with everything including delicious pieces of grilled chicken and creamy Cesar dressing😋. The best part of this whole order was the courteous delivery driver. He...
