The worst place with a disrespectful owner and I totally don’t recommend coming to this place :)

I invite the owner to come to Dubai to learn how to respect people and train himself very well in dealing with customers.

Shameful behavior from the owner!

Let me share my exact experience:

We were a large family consisting of 15 adults and children (5 small families) and each will pay bill separately which means we have the right to sit on 5 different tables and no one should stop us from doing this. The owner/ manager and the waitress came twice (2 seconds apart) to say that it’s not allowed to sit in so many tables “it’s not good” as said. Noting that half of indoor seats were empty at that time.

Later the same owner/manager came by sudden and pulled the yogurt from my mother’s hand while she was eating without a prior notice and he was shouting! I stopped him from being so rude with customers and he neither wanted to listen nor speak in English (he was shouting and speaking in his language and kept kicking the wall with his legs)

He didn’t want to listen nor speak with me when I discussed the issue and told him that this is not good to treat your customers this way. He never apologized and kept shouting then hiding in the kitchen to avoid discussion which was weird actually.

And just replying to the owner rude answer in this thread:

“My home country restaurants are so polite when dealing with customers and if food is not allowed, they will come and speak politely with the customer not shouting in front of everyone as we are not slaves! Check your behavior next time when you speak with people. Shame on...

Absurd experience…took the chair lift (which it appears exists for the sole purpose of visiting this restaurant) up to the restaurant. Was there about an hour before closing. There was a big group there having drinks and appetizers, and then several tables eating inside. We asked a waitress if we could get drinks and sit outside for a bit. She said they were closed…(what??). I asked one more person, who told me they were too busy.

So are you closed or are you too busy? Also, we wanted a beer and a glass of wine to sit outside by the bit. “Serving” us would have taken about 30 seconds.

If you are going to have a chairlift that costs 16CHF that exists pretty much just to take you to the restaurant, then you really shouldn’t be turning people away an hour before closing that want nothing more than a quick drink....

The view was amazing, but the food was not excellent. Except for the patient and polite waitress, there was a male waiter/manager (unfortunately, I didn't catch his name) who was rude to us. We politely asked for help adjusting the shade/awning at our table since the sun was directly overhead. He loudly berated us in a mix of English and Swiss German, saying we were on top of a mountain and should expect the heat, and that we should appreciate the view instead of constantly being on our phones. We let it go. A few minutes later, he returned to our table and repeated his sarcastic remarks in Swiss German, causing the nearby table to laugh. He's lucky we didn't get his name. Hopefully, we won't cross paths again. We won't be returning to this restaurant, especially if they continue to employ this particular staff member.

The view is magnificent. The menu though, is very limited and the pricing is quite expensive. Staff was not very friendly, also it was my first time there and this happened… we were at a table, and we had to leave because we were told that the group who reserved it is there already. They didn’t tell us before that it was reserved by 11 am, we might have chosen another table from the start if they told us, that’s bot a problem after all. I mean come on, there were a lot of tables anyway. But yes, I think they lack communication within the management, as well as to communicating to their customers. But kudos to the fast wifi connection as I managed to have my class 2000m above sea level 😛
