Restaurant XXL zepelinai is located on the outskirts of the city of Alytus, right next to the Stateta gas station. There is a parking lot, attractions for children. You can order food to take away or eat on site - you have to wait a bit for the food, but it is tasty, the portions are normal. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with taste and interesting details. The staff is polite and helpful. There is only one nuance - this restaurant was marked before arriving in Alytus as a tourist in advance, and since its name emphasizes "XXL cepelinai" (large ceppelins) it was expected to try them, but unfortunately it was not possible to do so... because the ceppelins had already run out . OK.. let's not make a tragedy, let's take another dish. But still... if the focus is on ceppelins, I don't think there should be a shortage of them. Other dishes maybe, but not ceppelins. It is better to shave a few more potatoes, but confirm the name of the restaurant. By the way, as far as we're got to see those ceppelins that were already eaten by customers who came earlier - ceppelins are real monsters. For some, one ceppelin is enough, and it is possible that it will...
Read moreDuring my short holiday I had the pleasure of being twice in this bistro/restaurant and I will definitely visit this place again on the next occasion because of the best Cepelinai I have ever eaten in my life 🥰 and herring with fried potatoes and marinated honey mushrooms just melted in your mouth. Great experience. Absolutely must to go place for...
Read moreThe food is nothing special, cepelinai comes with meat sauce by default which is weird. The worst part was poor customer service of one of the waiters (black hair lady). They should really hone up their hospitality skills. Things like arguing with the customers, or persuading that what they say is wrong is not something one can expect. Not...
