To feel slow is a bliss these days, and Preila is all for it. Slow down. Sit here on the shore of Curonian sea, and enjoy calm humm of the waves. Lyra, a long-standing symbol of Preila dining, is legendary. It had its downs, but now it is on steroids! Revised menu offers quality items free of old methods and cheatings. Go for signature €8 fish soup laden with eel & cream, but make sure to ask about soup of the day (its also good). Fried fish of the day is a must to try, and surely there are such mains as fish fingers and fish balls to enjoy. Meat eaters will love chilli soup and pork ribs. Passionfruit lemonade is a hit with kids. Not pricey at all, Lyra is now...

Edit for 2024: Not too keen on writing this, but this year the prices marginally increased, the portions almost halved, the quality went down a little, too. Tried a couple of times and it is consistent.. photo of same dish in 2023 vs 2024.

I think it’s time for a review.. Been visiting here for 15+ years and can say that this is my favourite spot in Neringa. ‘Starkio karbonadas’ is my most frequently ordered dish. :) Most others are excellent, too! This year the prices have increased a bit, but still well worth it considering the context. And nothing beats the setting! Come here in the evening and you’ll see...

We've been visiting this place for many years and we don't remember ever being disappointed. The food is simply delicious - the Kiev chicken was crusty and juicy inside and the side dishes of French fries and salad were made well. The chicken and pork steaks were very good. The prices are inexpensive and the view is fantastic - I highly recommend sitting at the tables right above water. Although the noise made by the birds can be...
