Unfortunately, we didn’t even get a chance to try the pizza, which looked quite tasty however. Upon asking to order two pizzas to take away, the staff reacted quite unfriendly and then informed us that it would take about two hours for the two pizzas since they were a bunch of orders ahead of us. I can appreciate a good wait for great food, but two hours seems quite excessive.
The ambience takes some getting used to. The restaurant tries to be somewhat fancy with golden scissors to cut the pizza, German and French beer, Italian, Prosecco, etc. but seating is directly next to the street and you have to order at the counter.
Maybe we just had bad luck with timing, but even so we didn’t feel welcome or well informed about the situation. Or maybe we just didn’t fit their clientele…
In any case, feel free to check it out, I said the food looked really good, but don’t trust the Google information on...
Read moreIt was my favorite pizza place in Lithuania, but after yesterday I will probably forget the name and of this place. We ordered our favorite Quattro Formaggi, Margarita and pizza with prosciutto and buratta. I asked the last one to do with less rucolla as possible, but it was a “mountain of grass”, pizza was cold. Quattro Formaggi was nothing as it was, dough was like rubber, cheese only on the middle. And the cherry on top - margarita was with Parmesan cheese and had garlic oil taste, something similar what you can find in shity pizzerias like pizza express. And for this food, which we didn’t eat, we had to wait more than 40 minutes. I am deeply sad, I understand that the kids are learning but it’s unfair to learn on loyal customers. If your best team is in Palanga, it is better to postpone this location than loose your image forever. I sincerely hope that you will find my comment and...
Patogu. Bandykit, bus gerai. / "Kirvis ir Malka" is conveniently located in Kunigiškės. It is maybe 8 minutes away from Palaga on the bike path. Pizzeria is small inside, there is a little space for eating by the window, but otherwise all the tables are outside. Before going to this pizzeria, I thought it was going to be just another simple resort pizzeria. And again I was wrong. The menu includes 12 pizzas and focaccia. For the first time, we ordered the classic Margarita and Capricciosa for tests. The pizza base is very good, soft, moist. As I think it should be. Good, high-quality ingredients only strengthen this whole gastronomic festival. No knives and forks - scissors. You cut and eat. The kids also liked the pizzas and the fact that you have to cut it yourself. On our second visit, we tasted Margarita, Siciliana and Pancetta. As always, Margarita is super with a really good tomato sauce, Siciliana is saltier, Pancetta has a milder taste. It's nice to have such good places to eat. Several choices of draft beer and I saw they are making Aperol spritz. Plus they can deliver pizza right to the beach. As far as I know, there are a couple of spots near Kunigiškių beach. All you have to do is scan the QR code, order pizza, pay and wait for it to be delivered. The first time we sat, this guy with an electric bike was buzzing non-stop. Comfortable. Try it,...
