Konsdreffer Millen — Restaurant in Consdorf

When we firstly arrived we were told to seat ourselves, which is fine, we then when we were ordering drinks they told is they were out of aperol ( where ask myself what restaurant is out of aperol??) in addition to our sodas we ordered water, which didn’t arrive until we asked for the third time, to which a waiter gave us a sloppy excuse instead of truthfully telling us they just forget and that they were sorry. Our food took very long and arrived lukewarm, besides that the food was good but would have even been better if it was actually warm. But for that price this is unreasonable. Which leads me to the working waiters. One woman was quite rude and seemed to not know their own menu. Another waiter was very stressed and ran around chaotically without any purpose. A friend and I just stayed for a night at the B&B. What an utterly delightful place! We had changed our travel plans to spend a day and a half in Luxembourg before flying home and came across this little gem when looking for a last minute hotel room and couldn't have been happier. It was moderately priced compared to most of the other hotels but worth every penny. The drive from the city was already lovely but to be greated by a wall of beautiful roses as we drove up the driveway was the cherry on top. It's wonderfully situated right near some major hiking trails, the staff was friendly and helpful, the comfortable beds were exactly what was needed after a day of sightseeing, and breakfast the following morning was delicious and had a wonderful variety of things to eat. Women waiter was very rude and we had problems with our order. She give us incorrect bill and even after providing the correct one, VAT was incorrect. We didn’t like our ordered ice coffee and apparently it was from the deserts menu and 11 eur. Which we complained about but she was rude, started raising her voice, asking which country we are from, and didn’t apologise at all.
