I've eaten in several Chinese restaurants, but Laotse is by far the best! We arrived about 10 minutes before they officially opened, but they still let us enter and served us almost instantly. The menu has fewer options to choose from than most other Chinese restaurants, but what they offer is of the highest quality. The meats in my Trois Délices were "melt in your mouth" tender and perfectly spiced, kudos to the chef! You also have a "Menu du jour", which they update and showcase on their social media (Facebook in my case). The staff is multi-lingual (we were greeted by a local "Moien" followed by French, the girl who brought our drinks spoke English, and the very friendly lady who I assume to be the main waitress even spoke Luxembourgish, which is a rarity here) and overall very friendly, asking us if we enjoy our food without being obnoxious about it. The interior is clean and well maintained, the tables are spaced apart well enough that you won't get bothered by other customers, neither by them walking past, nor by them talking to each other in a disruptive way. It was our first time there, but we will definitely come back more often...
Read moreThey have a big selection of dishes on there menu, during the week they have a all you can eat buffet wich is very nice. The staff is very friendly and professional. I have never been disappointed in the Lao Tse, in aspect of the quality of the food and in the aspect of friendliness of the staff. The only dificulty is that parking is very limited, wich is not there fault. I would recommend to do make rable reservation because it can get quite crowdy.
Update 2022-11-08:
Their online ordering system is NOT working, 2nd time i ordered online via their website. I received twice the confirmation email that my order went through but at the restaurant nobody knows anything about my order, quite disappointing. The food is still...
Read moreProbably the best Chinese restaurant Iâve tried in Luxembourg so far! They have a variety of dishes, including the usual Chinese classics. I had the red braised pork, which was incredibly tenderâit literally fell apart. The sweet and sour chicken was also really nice. One thing I loved was that they gave us warm plates to put the food on, which is always a plus for me. I went with my friend without a reservation, but they still managed to accommodate us, and the service was pretty good. Iâll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Unfortunately, I didnât get a good photo because I was too excited to...
