I was very excited when this restaurant opened and have been there on multiple occasions. The menu is not too small or big, the food looks great and the presentation is top. However, the taste of the food is below average and one thing that really upset me today was that the pasta carbonara ordered was absolutely disgusting. Instead of bacon/lardon, they used pork fat and made everything horribly fat and anedable. The pasta was soaking in liquid fat and some sort of persil thrown on top; which I absolutely hate. The pasta itself was decent in terms of portion, however little to no parmesan and eggs inside. The result from the chef today was simply subpar, I could've done a much better job. A failed lunch which resulted in this review.

Read moreSomebody told me about a year ago that Béni had the best spaghetti carbonara in Luxembourg. I had my doubts. Took me 9 months to make my way here. I can confidently say that my friend spoke the truth! Since then I have been here 6-7 times and everything is great. Excellent service. Friendly and competent staff. And above all, an absolutely splendid kitchen! Lunch or dinner, doesn’t matter. Can’t rave enough about this place. Food is really excellent.

I highly recommend the Dés de tapioca as a starter, Filet de Boeuf as main dish and the Moelleux au dulce de lech for dessert. If you have the chance, ask the chef for a recommendation, I'm sure you won't regret it!
