Op der Breck — Restaurant in Kopstal

There is a poster on the wall of the place « Putin is not your enemy, Wall Street is. » I asked to clarify what do they want to share by this and the employee replied that « it is there from 80s. I don’t know.. ». In 80s Putin was not rulings totalitarian state that invaded Ukraine, Georgia, Siria… Putin is officially recognised war criminal and my personal enemy. Will not come to this place again and do not recommend to anyone.

PS: I am grateful the owner for his response and support to Ukraine thought indeed when I am in the resto ambiance and hospitality does matter and messages they share through decoration/...

If you order take away they don’t do any discount or even give you chips/drinks with your order (like most other restaurants do). The prices went up by quite a bit. At the same time food quality is inconsistent.

If you really have to have a Thai dish, dine in so they have to work for their money. That is if you can afford their drinks. Yikes.

Response to the owners comment : Comparing yourself to a pizza place is unfair since they have a much greater price-performance ratio.

Wow. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Op der Bréck yet. We come here regularly and we've loved it since our first visit! Meanwhile, we celebrate family birthdays here. The food is SUBLIME, and the service is charming and wholesome. Yes, the dishes are on the slightly more expensive side, BUT you'll get massive portions. You can easily take some of it home and enjoy a second time. There's a generous offer of various beers and spirits, including IPA's and German Hefeweissbier. Takeaway is also possible. Delivery is...
