This Chinese and sushi restaurant, located in Luxembourg City, is a small, family-run establishment. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is noted to be friendly, provided by the owners themselves – a husband who prepares the sushi and a wife who serves the customers.

The food is reported to be of high quality, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Patrons specifically praise the sushi for its taste and craftsmanship. However, it should be noted that the sushi is priced higher than some might expect, although this seems to be in line with the general price range for restaurants in Luxembourg City.

Overall, this restaurant offers a blend of Chinese and sushi cuisine in a warm, family-oriented setting. While prices, particularly for sushi, are somewhat elevated, they are consistent with the city's dining scene. The quality of the food and the intimate dining experience are the main draws for this...

I was shocked by the bad quality of food.

Me and my friend ordered two soups and two hot dishes: -the soup had nothing inside, it is like we had two bowls of hot water -the quality of meat was really bad, chicken was fried too much, it was dry and hard. -the sauce of meat was too much, very very salty -the rice was definitely from previous meal -the quantity was very poor

the service was also bad, the waiter was listening to what I have said with my friend and made comments when I was about to leave (she tried to chat with me by making comments of what I said but does she realize it was very impolite!!!)

Two soups+two cokes+two hot dishes for...

First visit yesterday. It is quite cosy inside which is pretty cool. The more traditional designs probably help with these.

The waiters are also quite attentive and quickly go over to your table once you are finished with e.g. your starter. The food also generally tasted good even if one sauce on a salad was a bit strange.

I also never previously saw the dessert I had as an option in another restaurant so that was pretty cool and I had to try it out.

Good restaurant overall but just as most nothing that really makes...

The sushi chef from Tomo (Merl) is finally back! He reopened recently under the name Tomo Ya and the food is delicious as always. Very fresh and best quality sushi! Totally recommend! Just a tip: ask for the chef's menu for the special sushis 😉 For wheelchair users: the entrance (see picture) is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly as there are stairs to get to the restaurant upstairs.

A little gem found in Luxembourg. The chef offers a diverse course of nigiris in his omakase set. The fishes used for the different nigiri pieces were fresh and several had the chef's touch. Best pieces I had were the Saba nigiri and marinated salmon that the chef prepared himself. Definitely a must try for the sushis. Cannot comment for the rest as I didn't had any.
