il Tartufo — Restaurant in Mamer

Lukewarm dishes. On a plate with 3 components, one was missing. Moules were the smallest Moules I have ever seen (a joke), served with 10 french fries. They probably take 2 choice ingredients to keep costs low, but there prices are as if it was first choice. To top it off there was a group of young adults (4 of them) who were drunk upon arrival and behaved like pigs (literally disturbed all the guests). They were warned by the owner and told they would have to leave if they wouldn't stop, but this was not put into action. Instead, they continued disturbing our evening. I eventually told them to keep it down, the owner then offered me another table (which, being in the midst of my dinner, I refused). He told us he would offer us something on the house, which never happened. Afterwards he told us that these guys come in to eat all the time and are usually nice. Well, he chose the regular income of money above service. Overall a not so great experience....

This place is an absolute disgrace - you have been warned. My wife is a vegetarian and asked for a pizza with no ham - confirmed by the waitress who then forgot. The pizza turned up with ham and an uncooked egg. By the time her replacement had arrived (again with an uncooked egg) we had finished eating. Then had a massive argument with a really unpleasant man who refused to take it off the bill. They have no clue about customer service. We will...

A tasteful, modern and clean interior, which still has a cozy touch to it. The staff is absolutely lovely, very kind and accomodating. The food is truly amazing. It’s classic, nothing too new or too crazy, but authentic and delicious!

Overall a perfect experience I would recommend to anyone.
